Project: Sewage Water Purification
Water Purification Its Need: From the past few decades due to advancement in technology, the global population is increasing at an alarming rate. This rapid growth brings new challenges like supply of food, sufficient resources and most importantly water conservation. Water conservation is a serious problem to solve nowadays in populated countries (including Pakistan). Here we came up with the idea of purifying sewage water to reuse the water, thus keeping in mind the three R's we made this water purification model. This project supports the concept of sustainability. This means the materials used are recycled materials and can last very long. The Process: This basic model typically includes the following steps: Filtration – Water passes through layers of sand, gravel, and charcoal to remove large particles and impurities.
